Refunds & Cancellations

What is free, when a paid charge can occur, and how to raise a payment or cancellation question.

Version 1.0Reviewed Plain-language product policy

Free features

Creating and using the professional Build, using the Hobby Tree, completing Resume Ready, and receiving the first standard professional resume do not require payment. The first eligible employer opportunity remains free where that existing offer is available. No checkout is needed for those free paths.

When a paid charge can occur

A paid charge can occur only after the user selects an eligible paid product and completes the supported external checkout. Prices, whether a product is one-time or recurring, and applicable checkout terms should be shown before confirmation. If checkout is not configured or a payment callback is not confirmed, the product must remain pending or unavailable rather than being represented as paid.

Cancellations

Leaving checkout, selecting cancel, or receiving a failed payment result does not complete a charge. A pending purchase is not proof that payment succeeded. For recurring products, use the cancellation control shown by the supported billing flow when it is available; if no cancellation control is shown, use the support path on the account or payment receipt before the next billing question arises.

Refund questions

Raise a duplicate, incorrect, unauthorized, failed-to-deliver, or otherwise disputed charge through the contact method supplied with the payment receipt or the current account support path. Include the order or payment reference, product, date, and a short description. Do not send passwords or raw identity documents. Refund decisions follow the applicable product terms and law; the app does not promise an automatic refund for every request.

No employment purchase

Payment purchases an Arbor Primus platform feature or service. It does not purchase employment, placement, compensation, a hiring decision, a verification result, a skill rating, or preferential treatment.

These pages describe the current product boundaries. They do not replace a contract, legal advice, or any obligation that applies outside the product.
